Welcome to Lone Pine Sporting Dogs Inc. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, the purchase of our products, and the booking of our services. By accessing or using our website, placing an order, or booking any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms: These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lone Pine Sporting Dogs Inc. We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Products and Services: We sell sporting dog equipment, training supplies, and related products. We also provide dog training sessions, boarding, and daycare services. All product descriptions, images, and pricing are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse orders, or discontinue any product or service at any time.

4. Pricing and Payment: All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes and shipping fees will be added at checkout. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods through Shopify Payments. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the full amount of your order or booking, including taxes and shipping.

5. Shipping and Delivery (Products Only): Shipping times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss or damage to products passes to you once the shipment is delivered to the carrier. Title to the goods passes to you upon full payment.

6. Returns and Refunds for Products: Please refer to our separate Return and Refund Policy for details regarding product returns and refunds.

7. Cancellation Policy for Services (Boarding & Training):

We understand plans can change. The following cancellation policy applies to protect the reserved time and space for your dog:

Boarding Services:

  • 72 hours or more before the scheduled start date: Full refund (minus any non-refundable deposit if applicable).
  • Between 72 hours and 48 hours before the scheduled start date: 50% credit toward a future booking (no cash refund).
  • Less than 48 hours before the scheduled start date, or no-show: No refund or credit. The full amount will be charged.

Training Services: (private lessons, group classes, or programs)

  • 2 weeks (14 days) or more before the scheduled start date: Full refund (minus any non-refundable deposit if applicable).
  • Between 2 weeks and 1 week before the scheduled start date: 50% credit toward a future training session or program (minus any deposit already paid).
  • Less than 1 week before the scheduled start date, or no-show: No refund or credit. Full amount will be charged.

General Notes on Service Cancellations:

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to training@lonepinesportingdogs.com.
  • Deposits are non-refundable unless the cancellation qualifies for a full refund under the timelines above.
  • We reserve the right to charge the full amount for any booking that is not cancelled in accordance with this policy.
  • In cases of emergency (e.g., serious illness or injury with veterinary documentation), we will review requests on a case-by-case basis and may offer a credit at our sole discretion.
  • Holiday periods and peak times may have stricter cancellation policies, which will be stated at the time of booking.

8. Intellectual Property: All content on this website (text, images, logos, videos, training materials, etc.) is the property of Lone Pine Sporting Dogs Inc. or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content without our prior written consent.

9. User Conduct: You agree not to use our website or services for any unlawful purpose, post false or misleading reviews, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or transmit viruses, spam, or harmful material. We reserve the right to terminate your access for any violation of these Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Alberta law, Lone Pine Sporting Dogs Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website, products, or services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service in question.

11. Alberta Consumer Protection: These Terms do not limit any statutory rights you may have under Alberta’s Consumer Protection Act or the Internet Sales Contract Regulation. If you reside in Alberta and we fail to meet certain disclosure or delivery requirements, you may have additional cancellation rights.

12. Governing Law: These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Alberta.
