We left our Brittany Spaniel with Lone Pine for three weeks over Christmas this year. We could not have been more thrilled with the level of care he received. Our dog is a very active but anxious dog. When we came back to pick him up he looked great. Did not show any sign that he'd been anxious during his stay. The facilities are first class. They were great. As a side note we drove all the way from Edmonton to drop him off and pick him up. We would not hesitate to do that drive again so he can stay at this 5 star resort!!

Bird dog heaven! Facilities and grounds are top notch. Landon has been very accommodating and professional. No brainer anytime my dog needs somewhere to stay when we are away. She’s always excited to show up and it’s hard to convince her to load up when it’s time to leave.

We had our bernesse cross here for a few days and nights. This is the only kennel where we have picked up our dog and he wasn't stressed or sick. 10/10 recommend. Well worth the 1.5hr drive.

Provided excellent service, my dog Archie really enjoyed his stay and training. He came home a much calmer dog and his leash work improved a lot. Landon took a fair amount of time answering our training questions so we can move forward.
I highly recommend Landon and Lonepine Sporting Dogs and look forward to having them boarder and work with Archie in the future. Thank you Landon for a job well done.

Great experience with Landon and Lone Pine Sporting Dogs. Boarded 4 dogs over a long weekend and will be looking to use the service again. Thanks Landon!

Brought my pup Tofu in for the free Transformation Session I saw advertised online. Landon was extremely kind and insightful and gave me so many tips & tricks for my crazy girl. I left with an instilled sense of confidence and a tuckered out pup.

I was nervous leaving my puppy for the first time, but our experience with Lone Pine made it really easy!
We left our 4 month old Wirehaired Vizsla for 2 weeks for the Puppy Foundations board and train while we were away on vacation and she did fantastic. Our dog absolutely needs structure and the ability to use her brain, and boarding at Lone Pine gave her just that. Not only did Landon help her get ready for her upcoming Natural Ability test, but he also helped her with some basic obedience and built on things she was already learning at home. She now waits in her crate before coming out, eagerly goes to her “place” while I cook, recalls like a pro, and waits patiently to eat. She has been an insane puppy piranha since we got her, but she hasn’t tried to put her mouth on me since we brought her back home from boarding. Since coming home I’ve noticed her confidence has increased as well.
She also did bird intro with Landon which went well. She went from trying to eat birds to actually pointing and waiting by the end of two weeks! This was so great as we don’t have access to live game birds and this experience was invaluable for our puppy.
She also got to play with the other dogs and definitely fell in love with Landon’s own puppy! It was so nice seeing her play and have fun outside with all the dogs. I liked that they have a small capacity, so there are never too many dogs there at one time to overwhelm each other.
I loved having the option of getting updates via text and this put my mind at ease that she was being treated like their own and that she was indeed having fun.
Landon is professional and kind and spent over an hour with me at pickup time answering all my questions, showing me what our puppy learned, and giving me tools and advice for continuing her training at home.
If you are thinking about board and train, do not hesitate to bring your dog to Lone Pine. It is absolutely worth the cost. Our pup is obviously a hunting dog, but any dog seems to be welcome there and they all seem to have such fun!
Thank you Landon for caring for our little puppy monster 🐶🥰

I've left my dogs, and my boyfriend’s dogs with Landon a few times now, and I can’t recommend him enough. His property is absolutely beautiful—spacious, peaceful, and so well maintained. You can tell right away how much care and pride he puts into everything. But what really stands out is how attentive he is with the dogs. He treats every one of them like his own, and his attention to detail doesn’t go unnoticed. It’s a huge relief knowing my dog is in such good hands when I’m away.

Landon and Piera are fantastic people and generally love animals. Landon has a solid understanding of training bird dogs and just an all around understanding of what makes a dog tick or a horse for that matter. We loved working with them and they really go out of their way to provide the best service for you and your dogs.
