Train for the Hunt, Hunt for the Story.
At Lone Pine Sporting Dogs, we believe a true hunting dog is more than instinct. It is obedience, trust, and composure built through honest, everyday work in the field.
We live by that simple idea every single day. We train with purpose because we know how it feels when your dog finally puts it all together, that hell-yea moment when everything clicks, the quiet satisfaction of small perfect moments in the field, and the great pride that comes with passing a hunt test.
Our programs are built on balanced development and real-world experience across our private fields, ponds, and upland terrain near Calgary, Alberta. We give it everything we have, every day, so your dog learns to think calmly, work independently, and respond reliably when it matters most. No shortcuts, just thoughtful, steady progress that turns good dogs into great ones.
Whether you are chasing birds in the prairies, building memories with your dog, or creating stories you will tell for years, our goal is simple: to help you develop a steady, confident partner you are proud to hunt with and proud to share the story about later.
